AZAR, located in the heart of Guéliz in Marrakech, offers with its multi-faceted neo-Oriental decor a totally contemporary approach to the Oriental restaurant. Our establishment combines elegance, modernity and authenticity for a unique culinary experience in the heart of the ochre city.
On the ground floor, a particularly hushed atmosphere due to these wonderful hand-carved plaster walls, a sort of 3D zellij, a true work of art. An elegant atmosphere bathed in light at lunchtime while it becomes more intimate as the evening progresses. The sober and elegant furniture, specially designed for Azar by Younes Duret, features its famous pouf armchair, a small nod to the traditional pouf.
In the mezzanine, perspectives and volumes burst forth and offer themselves to the eye. An alternative we wanted, a sort of hushed and organic space with the appearance of a precious cave: Ali Baba's Cave. The Mezzanine, more intimate, can serve as private lounges for your dinners or business meals. It also has a communal table for more conviviality and sharing.
For lunch, we offer various light and tasty formulas, in particular our gourmet and vegetarian platters, or our chawarmas to eat on the go. On the entertainment side, an elegant singer will accompany your dinner with Oriental melodies that will make you travel between the Orient of yesterday and today.
