🏢 À propos de ASSOCIATION TIFAWAT POUR LA CULTURE ET LE DEVELOPPEMENT SOCI

The Tifawat Association for Culture and Social Development, based in Tizgzaouine in the Assaki commune near Taliouine (province of Taroudant), is a civil society organization founded in 2005. It was born from the will of sons of the Ihlouchn region, many of whom reside in Casablanca or abroad, to respond to the pressing socio-economic needs of their native land.

Faced with weak infrastructure and the fragility of the education, agriculture and health sectors in this rural area of the Souss-Massa region, the association carries out concrete and sustainable actions. Among its major achievements: the supply of drinking water to the village of Ihlouchnen, the electrification and equipping of schools, the fight against female illiteracy, the organization of medical campaigns (diabetes, ophthalmology) and the digging of wells. Tifawat also works to preserve the local Amazigh heritage through an annual cultural festival and awareness seminars.

The association acts as an essential link between the population and public administrations, facilitating access to services and supporting local development projects (rural tracks, support for agriculture). Its action, rooted in the values of solidarity and mutual aid, aims to sustainably improve living conditions and preserve the dignity of the inhabitants of the douars in the Taliouine region.
