The ORDRE DES AVOCATS DE TANGER is the representative institution of the legal profession in the Tanger-Assilah prefecture. Located at the Palace of Justice, Place des Nations, the Tangier Bar today comprises nearly 650 registered lawyers and 80 trainee lawyers, making it one of the largest in the Kingdom.
Founded in 1924 under Tangier's international regime, the Bar has preserved its historical heritage while adapting to the evolution of Moroccan law. The Order ensures professional representation, monitors compliance with ethics, organizes continuing education and manages the registration of new lawyers.
Thanks to its strategic position and international influence, the Tangier Bar Association maintains cooperation relations with numerous national and international institutions: Moroccan Bar Associations, Union of Arab Lawyers, International Bar Association, and Mediterranean bar associations.
